The King of Molded Fiberglass RVs: Bigfoot Trailer

Molded fiberglass RVs are the perfect choice if you want a durable, aerodynamic home away from home. Whether you’re an avid traveler, a family on a road trip, or an outdoor enthusiast, a molded fiberglass RV can provide the ultimate adventure experience. If you’re looking for a spacious molded fiberglass trailer, you’re probably asking, “What is the largest molded fiberglass RV?”

At over 25 feet long, the Bigfoot Trailer is the largest molded fiberglass trailer on the maret. And, the fact that the Bigfoot is over 8 feet wide, makes it the most spacious and roomy molded fiberglass trailer on the market.

In this blog, we’ll delve into the unique features of the Bigfoot trailer and explore why they are quickly becoming a popular choice for those who want a roomy molded fiberglass trailer.

The Largest Bigfoot Trailer

While Bigfoot trailers come in many sizes, the largest Bigfoot comes in at a whopping 25′ 6″. The trailer is 8′ 6″ wide and has a headroom of 6′ 4″, which is remarkable for a molded fiberglass trailer. This model, the B25 offers three floor plans: B25RQ (Twin), B25RQ, and B25FB.

B25RQ (Twin)

This roomy floor plan sports twin beds, a full dinette, and a coveted dry bath. If you know anything about molded fiberglass trailers, the twin bed floor plan and dry bath combinations are not offered with any other molded fiberglass trailer currently on the market*.

The twin beds are a generous size, similar to home twin beds and they use regular twin bed sheets. For this floorplan, the bedroom is located in the rear of the trailer giving you plenty of privacy from the rest of the trailer – just close the door.

The nightstand between the beds has electrical outlets and USB receptacles to charge your phone. There are two drawers in the nightstand. There are also drawers under the bed for even more storage.

The bathroom is in the center of the trailer and has a separate toilet and shower area (dry bath). The shower is very spacious and the large skylight makes it feel even roomier. There is plenty of storage in the bathroom, including a large medicine cabinet with a mirror. There is plenty of room around the toilet for comfortable seating.

The dining area seats five adults fairly comfortability and has a large dining table. With the dinette converted to a bed, the trailer sleeps four people.

One of the great things about Bigfoot trailers is that the company is willing to customize them to suit your needs. I have seen trailers, including this layout, where bigfoot installed recliners instead of a dinette. One Bigfoot trailer owner told me that the company was even willing to install an outside door in the bedroom!

The kitchen in this trailer is a showstopper! The huge skylight illuminates the large kitchen. If it’s too bright, the skylight has a sliding shade.

There is ample counter space between the large round sink and the three-burner stove. Under the stove is a good-sized oven! The high faucet allows for room to fill larger pots. A microwave oven is positioned conveniently above the stovetop. If you need more counter space, there is a pull-up counter next to the stove.

One of my favorite features of the B25 is the large 8 cubic-foot refrigerator. The refrigerator is across from the sink and stove. The high placement of the refrigerator makes it easy to access all the food.

Overall, there is plenty of storage space in this floor plan, including a good-sized wardrobe.

Of all of the floorplans, this one is my favorite.

B25RQ

The B25RQ also has a bedroom in the rear. However, this floor plan sports an RV queen bed. Instead of the North-South bed orientation of the 25RQ Twin, the bed is in an East-West orientation, which means your head is toward the side of the trailer instead of the rear of the trailer when you are sleeping.

It’s still a walk-around queen bed though. With the walk-around queen, you avoid climbing over your pattern in the middle of the night. The bedroom is quite spacious considering it has an RV queen-sized bed.

Like the twin bed layout, the 25RQ has drawers for storage under the bed. It also has nightstands on either side of the bed with USB outlets for your phone. Above the nightstands are additional storage cabinets.

The layout of the rest of the trailer is identical to the 25RQ Twin.

B25FB

The B25FB is different from the other floor plans in that the bedroom is in the front of the trailer and the door is at the rear of the trailer. The bed is an RV walk-around queen, just like the B25RB. However, unlike the B25RB, the bed orientation is North-South. There are floor-to-ceiling cabinets on either side of the bed. The bedroom in the B25FB seems smaller than the B25RQ.

The dining area is in the center of the trailer and the dinette fits 4 people. The dinette converts to a full-sized bed. Across from the dinette, is a sofa. The sofa folds down to make an additional sleeping area for two. All told, the trailer sleeps six.

Behind the dining area is a compact kitchen. It still has all the same features, a sink, stove, oven, and microwave – just in a smaller space. The refrigerator is directly across from this area and is the same size as the other floor plans, at 8 cubic feet.

The bathroom is in the rear of the trailer and is also a dry bath. While the space is adequate for everything you need to do, the bath does seem a little tighter than in the two other floor plans.

Conclusion

No matter which floor plan you choose, you can’t lose with the generous space in a 25-foot-long Bigfoot travel trailer.
