inTech Terra Trailer: A Game-Changer in 2023

If you know me, you know I love molded fiberglass trailers. But when I saw the inTech Terra Trailer, I was very intrigued. It’s not a molded-fiberglass trailer. But the thing that caught my eye was the unique, sleek design and fiberglass panel exterior. And I wondered, how much the inTech Terra Trailer costs. Maybe you’re wondering too.

$68,950 is the starting MSRP for the inTech Terra. There are only five items that increase the price: The air conditioning unit, the outdoor slide-out kitchen, the slide-out kitchen refrigerator, the 14′ awning, and the Off-Grid Package. The Terra Rover comes with additional off-road features at an extra cost.

Buckle up and get ready for the ride of a lifetime as we take a closer look at what the inTech Terra has to offer!

The bathroom is large and comfortable, while the sleeping accommodations can comfortably fit up to four people. Plus, with advanced technology like LED lighting and a Bluetooth stereo system, you’ll feel right at home wherever you go.

One of the things I love most about the inTech Terra trailer is its cutting-edge safety features, like the anti-sway system and electric brakes, which provide peace of mind when driving on the open road.

With a GVWR of 7500 pounds, the inTech Terra can be towed with a full-sized SUV, like the 2023 GMC Yukon, Toyota Sequoia, or Ford Expedition. The Terra can also be towed with half-ton trucks like the 2023 Chevy Silverado, Toyota Tundra, or Nissan Titan.

The inTech Terra trailer has one of the more impressive interiors that I’ve seen. Let’s start at the front and work our way back.

inTech Terra Dinette Area

inTech Terra Dinette

As you walk into the Terra, you’ll first notice the dinette area to the left of the door. The Terra boasts a spacious U-shaped dinette area. It’s a spacious and comfortable seating area located in the main living space. The dinette can comfortably seat up to four people, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a meal, play a game, or simply relax after a long day of exploring.

The table spins around for easy access and doubles as a workspace or dining area. Above the dinette, you’ll find storage and a panoramic window with a pull-down shade. For added comfort, remove the table and store it in the cabinets above. It opens up the space, making it perfect for visiting guests.

The dinette also doubles as a sleeping area, with the table folding down to create a comfortable bed that can sleep two people. This feature is great for those who want to maximize the sleeping space in the trailer without sacrificing comfort or functionality. The bed, when converted, measures 93″ x 48″.

What’s really cool about the inTech Terra’s dinette is its design. It features high-quality upholstery and padding, making it both comfortable and durable. Plus, with the option to customize the upholstery to match your personal style, you can truly make the dinette your own.

The dinette seats are hinged and can be lifted up to reveal a large storage area underneath, perfect for storing bedding, clothes, or anything else you might need on your travels.

inTech Terra Kitchen

inTech Terra Kitchen

If you face straight ahead as you walk in the door, you see Terra’s compact kitchen. The kitchen includes a two-burner propane stove, a sink, a microwave, and a refrigerator. It also has plenty of storage space for all of your cooking utensils and supplies.

The kitchen includes a 10 Cu Ft 12V refrigerator, which is perfect for keeping all your food and drinks fresh. This is a good-sized refrigerator that will store about a week’s worth of food for your family.

The large farmhouse-style sink with a brushed nickel faucet is great for washing dishes and prepping food. The 2-burner stainless steel cooktop is perfect for cooking up your favorite meals, while the convection microwave is great for heating up leftovers.

Both the sink and the stove have covers to create more counter space when they are not in use. Above the stove and sink, there is more cabinet space for storage of kitchenware or food. Once you open the cabinets, they stay open. Cabinets also have a soft-close mechanism.

Across from the kitchen proper, or to the left of the door as you walk in, is a small island. Underneath the counter, there are two drawers and a cabinet.

On the side of the island, the by the door, there are two 120v outlets and one USB port. This would be a good place to put your coffee maker and plug in your phones for charging. Next to the outlets are the switches for exterior lights and the controller to extend or retract the awning.

inTech Terra Bathroom

inTech Terra toilet

As you walk toward the back of the trailer, the toilet area is on your left. In the Terra, inTech separated the toilet area and shower area.

The toilet is a porcelain toilet, which is perfect for those who prefer a more traditional toilet. The round sink with a brushed nickel faucet is both functional and stylish. There is enough counter space to rest your curling iron, hair dryer, or your makeup.

The under-sink cabinet and cubbies provide plenty of space to store all your bathroom essentials. In addition, there is an upper cabinet above the toilet and a towel bar below that.

There is a large window that allows for plenty of light, while the shade preserves your privacy.

In the toilet area, there is a roof vent. This feature provides proper ventilation, which is important for keeping the bathroom smelling fresh. The vent also helps to prevent moisture buildup, which can lead to mold and other issues.

Directly across from the toilet area is the shower. If you’ve ever had four people trying to get ready in the morning at the same time, you’ll appreciate that the shower is separate from the toilet. The walls of the shower are made of aluminum with a sealing exterior door, ensuring that the water stays inside the shower area.

inTech Terra shower

One of the best things about the shower is the roof vent. This feature provides proper ventilation, which is important for keeping the shower area fresh and clean. The vent also helps to prevent moisture buildup, which can lead to mold and other issues.

In addition to the shower itself, the bathroom also includes a mesh shower storage net and two towel hooks, providing plenty of space to store all your shower essentials.

inTech Terra Bedroom

inTech Terra bedroom - queen

All the way in the back of the trailer is the bedroom. It’s pretty amazing, but my favorite feature has to be the walk-around queen bed.

The bed is 60” x 80” with an upholstered headboard, making it super comfortable and cozy. But it’s not just the bed that makes the bedroom great. There are also several storage options, including a wardrobe, a large under-bed area, six overhead cabinets, two overhead cubbies, and three base cabinet cubbies.

As an option, you can order the Terra with twin beds.

In terms of ventilation, the bedroom has a MaxxAir vent fan and a roof vent. These features help to keep the air circulating and fresh, which is especially important in a small space like a trailer.

There are also two 12V USB outlets and two 120V outlets, so you can easily charge your devices and stay connected while on the road. And if you want to relax and watch some TV before bed, there’s a 32” TV in the bedroom as well.

inTech Terra Travel Trailer Exterior

inTech Terra being towed

The outside of the trailer has many high-end features. For starters, the trailer frame is an all-aluminum tube cage welded frame. On top of that, the exterior skinning is fiberglass with a one-piece fiberglass roof. This style of build makes the trailer lightweight, but durable.

One of the things you’ll notice about the exterior is the large curved panoramic window. This window lets in plenty of light to the dining area.

The trailer sits on a double Dexter Torsion Axle. The claim to fame with the Dexter Axle is that it offers a smooth ride. You won’t have to worry about getting a flat tire, as the trailer comes with an under-mounted spare.

The underside of the trailer sports a heated underbelly and 12V line heaters with tank heat pads. This allows you to extend your travels into the camping shoulder season.

The trailer has a 25,000 BTU ducted air conditioner (as an option) and a 25,000 BTU heater.

The power tongue jack makes it easy to hitch and unhitch, so you can start your adventure without any hassle.

At the rear of the trailer is a spray hose supported by the 44-gallon freshwater tank. This comes in handy if you want to spay off sandy feet or a dirty dog.

The trailer comes prewired for a portable solar panel. Plus, every Terra trailer is prewired for a backup camera.

The 2 5/16″ ball coupler and 2” rear receiver with a 175-pound capacity make it easy to bring along any extra equipment you need, like a bicycle rack or a storage tray.

You’ll have plenty of storage space with the three exterior compartments.

Two 20-pound LP tanks with quick-connect ports make cooking and heating convenient.

The trailer also has two exterior 120V outlets, a fold-away double entry step, two porch lights, and a front cap blue accent light for added convenience and style.

inTech Terra Travel Trailer Options

As I mentioned, there are five options available for the inTech Terra trailer and a few off-road options available for the Terra Rover.

Air conditioning unit

The 25,000 BTU air conditioning unit is ducted to reduce noise.

Outdoor slide-out kitchen

inTech Terra Exterior Kitchen

The outdoor slide-out kitchen is located near the rear of the trailer on the passenger’s side. The kitchen easily slides out to reveal a propane griddle. Another drawer, below the griddle, also slides out further to provide more counter space. Lift the counter up to reveal storage space for your kitchen utensils.

Slide-out kitchen refrigerator

inTech Terra Exterior Kitchen refrigerator

Another option is the 1.1 cubic foot, 12v refrigerator for the slide-out kitchen. Unlike the refrigerator in the kitchen, this is a chest-style refrigerator. This refrigerator increases your cold-food storage and holds the items you’ll want to cook on the griddle. As an option, you can use the refrigerator as a freezer if you need extra room for frozen food.

Awning

inTech Terra Exterior awning

In just seconds, the 14-foot power awning extends, expanding your living space and shielding you from the sun and rain. As I mentioned, the controls for the awning are located just inside the door, next to the outdoor light switches.

Off-Grid Package

InTech’s Solar and Lithium Package offers genuine off-grid freedom. With 400 watts of solar, an MPPT charger controller, 200 amp hrs of lithium batteries, and a 2,000 Watt inverter, you can explore uncharted territories.

Terra Rover

The first difference you’ll notice about the Terra Rover is the rugged decals that give it a tough look. And it’s not just for show, it has a 3″ lift that really sets it apart from other trailers.

The blackout wheels are also a great touch and they are paired with 235/75R15 tires with aggressive tread. So, this trailer can handle rough terrain with ease. Plus, the aluminum tube rear bumper is a nice added feature that adds to its ruggedness.

Conclusion

The inTech Terra trailer is a top-of-the-line option for those who love outdoor exploration. It features a modern and functional exterior design, making it both stylish and easy to maneuver. The spacious interior boasts a fully equipped kitchen, a large bathroom, and comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to four people.
